Typical Linux partition scheme for dual boot system

Partitions are to be created in same order shown in list below, this example is for 1TB hdd

  1. Esp system partition (100~512 MB )
  2. Windows (50 ~ 100 GB)
  3. Linux / ( 20 ~ 100 GB)
  4. Linux /home (10 ~ 100 GB)
  5. Ext4 work partition (?)
  6. NTFS data partition (?)
  7. Ext4 Encrypted
  8. Swap ( 2x of RAM)
